Ugh. Could anyone clear this up for me please? Google isn't being very helpful and I'm finding answers dotting about which are not making sense. One site says one thing and the other says another thing.

What is the PCD of my 04 Octavia? Now, One site says 5x100 and another says 5x112.

I only ask as I was going to swap my banded steels for some BBS wheels, same 5x100 fitment and thought I'd test fit the steels to see what it could of looked like...

Ran into this, not good.

So after getting a deal done to swap them for another set of wheels... of the same 5x100, I'll be going from a set of wheels which don't fit... to another set of wheels, which wont fit. DOH. So that deals been called off...

if its a mk2 it will be 5*112, if its a mk1, it will be 5*100. Forget the year as that was the transition period, just use the model type.

Well the idea was to get these steels on, But they are 5x100 and the hubs are 5x112 :( So have a set of wide steelies which are not doing anything! Only photos I have where of the test fit of the 10J's just to see how far they poked out :
