I have the chance to get hold of a mk1 octavia vrs rear beam (poly bushed...) just wandered if this would fit onto my mk1 fabia vrs?

It wouldn't... Why would you want to?

The poly bushes however... They may fit on a fabia rear beam if you can get them out cleanly... (powerflex?)

alex its not the same so we can just swap the brakes over ;-)

kiddy he was asking as the brakes on the rear are bigger on the octy so make a good upgrade and the rear beam had been polybushed but we now realise its different so just brakes to swap over

yeah they are 2 piece and newish so i will take them out for him and compare the 2 ;-)

Ah fair enough i'm looking for 256mm setup aswell. I was curious as to why you would swap the beam incase there were any drastic benefits I was not aware of :p

Well put it this way. You can put fabia VRS bushes into the rear beam on an Octavia (and it's a popular mod!) so I can assume that powerflex rear beam bushes are the same spec.

well i have the rear brake setup but it has uprated disc and pads and i have the poly bushes if they come out okay ;-) pm me
