Superb outdoor

OMG...I think I'll stay 'indoors'!

And draw curtains. :peek: :peek:

Wish they followed on with the Scout name though....!

Guess they don't want to tread on Audi's toes too much by making a full blown Superb Scout..

I thought all cars were for the outdoors?

Anyway, this is the kit I've been looking for, so far it's been shown on the "alldrive" models. I'm guessing Alldrive is now the combination of 4x4 and the outdoors package. There is no confirmation of ride-height changes over the standard models. My dealer thinks it's the same height (but he could be confusing the outdoor kit with an alldrive model). He did show me the passat alltrack and say it's essentially a body-lift with all suspension components at the same height as the standard passat. I didn't crawl underneath to check.

The reason I want that kit is gravel protection. Particularly along the sills and back bumper sides. The front is just for show.

Kiwibacon, don't know about this "Outdoor" pack, however I have an ordinary diesel 4x4 with this so called "rough road pack" with 20mm extra ground clearance and now looking at these new pictures I'm not sure I'd opt for this new option. And I do have underneath protection (one reason exactly being gravel).

But as I understand this "rough road pack" is not available everywhere...

I am wanting that too. But it appears my dealer just wants to shift the cars they already have in the country. Says they can't even special order a manual gearbox.

Do you have an option code for the "rough road" package or an idea of the extra cost?

Sounds strange but as corporate businesses have their own strange ways, I wouldn't be too surprised.

However sometimes stubborn and persistent behaviour brings to success, so don't lose the hope, yet...

"PSW - Rough Road Package" - €165.- (the same for VW Passat costs €605.- )

I actually really like it, it adds a nice bit of detail to the bodywork, almost like an Audi A4 all road.

Just my theory, but I think the "Alldrive" is a combination of:

1. 4x4 drivetrain.

2. Rough road package (20mm higher and underbody protection).

3. Outdoors exterior styling package.

The skoda media app (android) now has an alldrive description which fits all of the above. I can't seem to cut/paste the text out and don't feel like trans-scribing it right now.
