Fair comment, Mike

You know I like to experiment from time to time

The idea was to have a rough blending between the colours so as to avoid it looking too regimented

Good job, i like it very mechanical looking

:giggle: I'd heard the rumours.

I like it Bryan, especially the fading, I know it was only done for simplicity, but it works really well! Now for some pictures of the items fitted?

Mike

At a local bodyshop having the rear bumper resprayed (after I stupidly nudged a post), and having a tailgate spoiler sprayed and fitted

The spoiler Black and Gold, Black and Gold, a little bit of Sam Sparro

It happens to us all at some time!

What colour is the spoiler going to be, black or gold?

I thought about gold, but went for black

Goes to prove even I have limits ;)

What's next? Gold flecks in your diesel?

What bodyshop you using?

I need some work done on the 205 and could use a local recommendation.

Have you thought of painting the rubbing strips gold?

A thought that lasted approximately one nanosecond, Mike

I took mine off to do my wrap - the adhesive is a complete **** to get off.

When it's back, i'd be interested to see what those covers would look like back on the engine itself, so it's in context. Any chance of some pics at that point?

That my friend, is too long!

Stop now, go back repaint black shut bonnet , then off to local model shop and buy some airfix kits , keep you busy and away from aerosols.

Car looks really cool don't faff any more , you need a project i think .

I like it, and I’m very choosy about who looks under my bonnet, so not everyone will get the pleasure of seeing it

Is that a metaphor?
