Nope! Only thing I can think you might want to do is lower it a little as the alloys will emphasise the ride height more than steels.

All in good time... this is currently my first car and i'm still at college so alterations like that dont go down to well with insurance figures yet! Plus iv still got warrantie on car.

Buy the time i can afford to lower car etc. i'll be looking to by a vRS!!

Fair enough - I wouldn't see anything wrong warranty wise with fitting someone elses vRS suspension setup, when they upgrade?! ;) Its Skoda stuff being fitted which I think would be ok with the warranty (but check with dealer first) :)

If i do it'll certainly be one for the books... 1.2 vRS!!

HeyFabia 12v......My vRS wheels are on yhe Wifes 1.2 12V Fabia Silverline Estate. They look the bees knees and I think it makes the ride better. The steering is a little heavier which has Improved the road holding as before it was very light and the car tended to wander a little...........Andy.

Want to try that myself one day.- Does it need dropping or does it look alright? Any warranty issues for you?

Looks ok. The wheels/tyres fill the arches quite well. As for Warranty my dealers not bad buy if it came to it I'll skick the originals back on. I'll post some pictures at the weekend so you can see the differance. Andy

You might find that fitting suspension designed for a nose-heavy diesel to a light petrol car may be detrimental to the handling ;)

Chris

Sound out your local dealer to see how bothered they are about modifications - mine fitted the lowered springs for me, and said they'd only worry about it if something suspension related went in a big way...

Replaced my steels with the vRS alloys a while back - does look nice and doesn't really do anything bad to the handling :)

 Please get the badges and body kit and do it :D:thumbup:

If people are willing to help with badges if anyone has spares??? I'll do it, but ATM i'm still at college so money is tight. So anyone out there with spare nose or rear badges.. send them my way!! and u'll have urself a Blue 1.2 vRS!!

I've gone the other way - my vRS is currently badged as an SDI - great for discouraging the chavs from trying to hump your back bumper with their saxos, looking for a race. Can't de-badge the front grille though as that would leave a hole in it

Note the passenger on the parcel shelf :D

Looks familiar to a "phase" my car went through as well.

Cheers- that'd be cool. Only so far I can guess with Photoshop- It will be nice to see a real one!

Good to have another fellow combi driver on the forum. Good choice
