I'm having a dilemma!

Featured Replies

It's come to the point where i'm actually ready to pick a colour... And now i'm having a bit of a dilemma!

I was trying to find a grey that I was happy with (Octy in diamond silver) but couldn't find one in a rattlecan that was any good...

Don't want black because that will just defeat the point of having spokes in the first place...

So. What colour?

The family have actually commented that they don't mind white... I'm nearly inclined to agree with them :o

Any thoughts? Nothing lairy else the missus will have my guts for garters!

Pink!

I thought it was a matter of time before pink was suggested :p

I'm beginning to heavily lean over to a gloss white unless there are some other options (non-lairy!)

Not sure white works on silver - never 100% when I ran white wheels on mine.

I always thought the darker colours look good. A dark anthracite might be a good shout, but not sure what actual paint colour that would be? Gun metal grey?

Yeah, I was looking at gun metal grey. Was also looking at a smoked chrome - but then that looks a little _too_ stock I think...

...But then i'm not sure. It'd definitely work...

Cream and Grey....

E-Tech paint goes on nicely

I'm assuming your painting wheels - doh, noticed the wheel colour tag afterwards...

If I went white... They would look like this:

But cleaner and shinier obviously. ;)

Thoughts?

Unless your going to cleane everyday then dont bother there a pita !@@@

To be fair, most wheels if not kept clean can look cruddy apart from a matt colour - but I want something shinier at least. Keeping them clean will become a case of getting some good urethane lacquer on it and getting some decent wax to seal it in properly and keep it relatively easy to clean.
