Yeti not available through DtD

Featured Replies

Just noticed that the Yeti is no longer available to order through Drive the Deal.

Spoke to them and they said that their dealer basically had no allocations through to 2013.

Broadspeed and Carfile still able to quote, but I don't think they were quite as competitive as DtD.

The current delivery schedule for cars ordered now is:

Not sure if this will have any influence on our car choice (see previous thread on Yeti vs Tiguan).

Not entirely unexpected. D t D were too good.

You could always try

www.skodastore.com or www.happynewcar.co.uk

I used Skoda Store and someone else got a good deal and short wait time from Happy New Car. My car came from Rainworth, the other one came from the dealer in Aldershot.

How did you find Skodastore? I've had an order for an Elegance Yeti with options since May 2011 and still not got a lead time. SkodaStore are quoting 4 months and I'm real tempted to cancel my order with my current broker....

Thanks

Steve

Hi I ordered in September 2011, Jeremy altered the spec of an expected demo to what I wanted, they gave an estimate of mid Feb, but it was early and came to the dealer on Jan 13th. I did not have a problem with the change of reg in March and so was very pleased. They did everything they said they would and gave a good discount on the basic price and any extra's that I wanted. They also deliver free if you don't want to go and get it. I would be happy to buy from them again.

Cheers - thanks very much for the recommendation. I'm now awaiting their dealer (themselves?) to call me back to discuss things further.

Thanks again for your input.

Steve

Yes, but who says these other companies have an allocation?! DtD is just being honest and not misleading people at least. Some of these other companies seem to just take the order come hell or high water, wait 6 to 8 months before they get an allocation again and THEN place your order which takes a further few months to fullfil!!! Erm, no thanks.
