Fabia VRS diesel downpipe (& map)?

Featured Replies

Downpipes - are they worth ~£200?

I'm looking at remapping my (not yet delivered  ) Fabia, and am considering a panel filter and Miltec d/pipe at the same time. The idea is they smooth out power delivery, but I'm looking for some real world feedback...

Re-map only £265 (Will @ P-Torque), with all the rest £530. So, worth it or not?

Cheers

Stick with the normal oem panel filter. These are capable of over 200bhp.

Downpipe. Only benefit might be lower EGT which is good for the turbo but you won't see more power. You'd be better of putting the money towards an upgraded clutch which will allow the mapper to increase low down torque, if you go for a custom map.

If your not planning changing the clutch then just stick to the remap.

^ Great, thanks. That's just what I needed to hear.

I don't think I'll go down the clutch route... if it ain't broke and all that

The standard downpipe does get restrictive... at some stage of tuning, stage 1 isnt one of those!
