Featured Replies

Just thought i'd say hello, as i can see this being a really good place to get proper advice.

Delivery of my motor is due end of June, and i must say I'm looking forward to it !

So here's question to kick things off, What are the top things to check for when you pick up your new Skoda?

Thanks guys

Hello and welcome along

Hi and welcome, take a good look round , make sure the paint is perfect, do yo want the locking features normal one push on fob only opens drivers door, 2 pushes open all, they can code it to one push opens all , and ask them if the anti-hijack is sett up, ( locks the doors above 5 mph )

Take your time ! Do not feel under any pressure to grab the keys and drive off. Check if all the options ordered are fitted (if you ordered any). Sounds obvious but you will be surprised what can go wrong. Check everything works and get an explanation of any features you are not sure of. The salesperson may want to get on with selling to other customers but you are entering into a long term relationship and both you and the dealer want a happy outcome. If anything is amiss, if its small get a commitment to have it rectified before accepting the car, if there is a more serious issue, refuse to take delivery until its sorted out. This guarantees a swift response. Not wishing to be an alarmist, just practical, I'm sure everything will be OK, happy skodding.

Hi and welcome aboard.
