Has anyone given this a go on the vRS yet?

I know it doesn't boost power and only shortens the throttle delay but I've been reading about it and it's intrigued me. Most of the people that have had it on their cars love it.

Having just looked at what it does, I would not bother. All this device does is change the resistance of the throttle pedal making the ECU think the pedal is pressed further than it is therefore reducing the travel between nothing and full throttle. Could make for interesting progress in slow stop/start traffic with other side effects including increased fuel consumption and will make it more difficult to maintain a steady speed due to the shortened pedal travel, considering the price for what it is, I would just press the pedal a little further.

It is a waste of money and you end up burning more petrol.

You'd be better of getting the throttle map adjusted to suit if it what you want.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to buy one but wouldn't mind trying one to see what all the fuss is about :yes:

I had one on my old car, and I did notice a difference, but I wouldn't get one for the Fabia because IMO it picks up pretty quickly as it is. And for the price, I wouldn't bother, not missing out on anything
