Thank you

Featured Replies

Just wanted to thank a few people now that my car has been fitted with Eibach lowering springs and Bilatein B4 dampers.

Firstly to Demon Tweeks for doing a good price on the dampers for me.

Then to Midland VW for fitting everything and aligning the wheels. What they don't know about VAG cars probably isn't worth knowing!

Finally the members of this forum who have provided advice and opinions and experiences with regard to suspension options and questions.

If you need anything doing to your VAG car, I really cannot recomend Midland VW enough.

Glad it has put a smile on your face

How much did they charge for fitting if you don't mind me asking? I always used to go their when i had my mk3 golf when they were in Bridgtown but i thought they got a bit big for their boots when the moved to Norton Canes as Jody never seemed to be about to oversee things......perhaps things have changed over the last 8 years though!!

I am thinking of getting lowering springs for mine but unsure as to whether the stock VRS dampers will cope with the drop?

JRW you will find you will bounce down the road like Tigger( I did ) till I got dampers to match :giggle:

It was £175 for fitting of the springs and dampers I supplied and that included full geometry alignment as well.

Paid a little extra for new top mounts, but can't recall exactly how much (c.£30 IIRC).
