Exhaust Fumes Entering Car through heater vents.

Featured Replies

Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed that when the car is stationary with the engine running there is quite a strong smell of exhaust fumes in side the car. I think they are coming from the air vents, when I drive away the fumes seem to go away.

Octavia PD TDi Vrs, had the injectors changed a while back. Could it be related to this

Any thoughts guys

Time to chop it in Auric and buy something French and more reliable! On a more helpful note, this is a common problem on the Peugeot 3008 and is talked about as lot on the Peugeot forum I frequent. It is a clamp loose and leaking on the turbo that causes it. Im no mechanic but seem possible it might be the same thing? Lift the bonnet and see if you can see any soot deposits anywhere, especially around the turbo area.
