Turtle Wax Bogof

FYI Halfords are currently running a Buy One Get One Free offer on all Turtle Wax cleaning products, went in today and got myself some Bug & Tar remover and Alloy Wheel Cleaner :)

I noticed that when I went in on Saturday. I ended up buying a Comma wheel cleaning kit though. Used it and it's a damn sight better than the Turtle Wax stuff. The Turtle Wax cleaner leaves tar spots all over the rear wheels. The Comma stuff didn't leave anything behind, and came with 2 brushes and a mini sponge for

Rob would you say Comma is better than Wonder Wheels?

Haven't tried Wonder Wheels. I might give that a go next.

I clean my wheels at least once every two weeks (preferably every week if the weather is fine and I get time to do it), so there's almost never any heavy soiling. When using the Comma wheel cleaner, I found I didn't have to scrub nearly as hard as I did with the Turtle Wax cleaner.

I justdo'nt know whether or not to try Comma because Wonder Wheels isn't removing everything from my wheels

Got to be worth a try. The kit is 9 quid, but I think you can get the cleaner on it's own for about 5 or 6 quid.

Ive been using Auto glym wheel cleaner. The trick is definatly to give them a coat of brake dust barrier (from turtle wax) it gives them a bit of a shine and makes them so easy to clean next time. Any one know if that is in the Halfords offer?

WD40 remove tars a treat.

I got some new polish the other day. Teflon by Simonez (like that Teflon stuff fo rthe interior). Car cam eup a treat and no white residue. Also removes tar!

Dave saw the shine on the car on Tuesday and was impressed. I don't think it has a deep a shine as the Swissol but you pays your money (
