Afternoon all, i currently have a Stage 2 Fabia VRS, had the clutch uprated and everything, looking to go up to Stage 3 next, however im unsure if the worth for a Hybrid is really there for an extra Grand, or if i can just go for the PD150 turbo and another map, does anyone know any good companies that can produce or at least give me info about a bigger Turbo upgrade and where i could buy one from, as i believe the 130>150 is a straight swap??

Pd150 is good for 190ish bhp. Hybrid pd150 which uses either a 52 or 56 compressor wheel from a vnt20 is good for around 215bhp. After that your looking at the GTB turbos.

it's the torque that you need to consider transmitting to the tarmac through the front wheels!

stage 3 is a waste of money unless you get an atb diff and that spins away some of the torque to lose what u gain

Torque was bang on 300lb-ft!

0-60ft time was mightly impressive, i think it was 1.6s

Terminal speed was 97mph

(diff not a necessity by any means)

Not at santa pod but the 1/4mile was run by santa pod

Its the driver i tell you plus the car only had 195-200bhp

My PB to 60ft is 2.06 seconds, on road tyres with a diff

No sorry it was a few years ago now, but im not joking it rocketed off the line, was just one of those awesome starts.

No wheel spin whatsoever and id didnt bog down at all, then quick change into second, was as perfect as it could have been!

Did you go on to run a 14.4? Just I cant see how that adds up, to be .4 seconds quicker to 60ft but then be .9 seconds after the 1/4 mile line?! I cant see how I make up 1.3 seconds over a 13 second run with only 20hp more?

I wish you had the slip, as then I would have to try harder with 2nd gear launchs as always.

Was my fastest of the day with the rest being around 15s dead so theres the .6s

It was an awesome start

Having only 195bhp maybe have been an advantage off the line....? (less power and torque = less spin)
