Sticker removal

Featured Replies

Hi folks...

does anyone have any tips for removing car stickers from the inside of the rear windscreen?

I'm trying to avoid leaving a sticking mesh that turns all fluffy over time. :@

Thanks

Hi and welcome aboard.

Try using a hair dryer to take them off.

Hairdryer works a treat

NEVER use anything else on the rear screen

Hi and welcome aboard.

Try using a hair dryer to take them off.

+1 and a bit of terps / white spirit on a rag to remove any sticky residue

hairdryer to make it bubble up a LITTLE, peel away and a little meths on a soft cloth to remove any residue, worked a treat to remove the garage logo of the rear screen anyway.

Hi & welcome. Hairdryer is the better first removal option & then re: residue removal the best stuff I've used is 'sticky stuff remover'. Comes in a yellow spray can & it's a simple spray on gel application. I've used it on windows and bodywork and it works a treat.
