where to get replacement key

Featured Replies

HI

Have recently bought a 2003 fabia but only came with one key.

Current quote for replacement and coding from Arnold Sharks is £150

Any one else know of a reasonable provider in the Glasgow area?

Cheers

The main dealer can do you a non-remote key (without the buttons) for way less than that if you just want a spare

Call your local auto electrician, if he's worth using he will have the kit to either clone the existing transponder or code a new one in, the key's are also very reasonable to get cut.

The Leon came with 1 flip key and one standard (ironic considering the Octavia comes with two) so I swapped the immobiliser coil, coded a fob to the car and had a blade cut from a photo for under £15 with a bit of work, my auto electrician quoted me £40ish to code the key if I managed to smash the glass but not much chance of that :)
