Immobilizer problem

Hi all,

I need advice on my fabia 1.4 mpi 2002. There is this annoying flashing light with a key sign on it that won't go off when I want to start the car. It eventually goes off, sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes, 30 up an hour before it goes off and the car starts.

Work done so far:

New battery £70

New ignition barrell and new keys £122

Labour charges for key code £100

Wiring checked £0

Now the garage want me to buy a new dash panel £500, still not sure if this will sort the problem.

Contacted 2 dealers, they suggest the same, ie change the dash panel. To be honest I have no intention of buying a dash panel for £500 plus labour. Need help
