Hi guys and gals. I need to get the timing belt + water pump changed on my fabia 1.9tdi ASAP. Does anyone know of a decent independent garage in the Cambridge area that will do this for a good price? I refuse to go to the main dealer after my last experience there was less than satisfactory.

i found a garage in bury st edmunds,called MCC motor engineering,on their website it states they are VAG specialists and volvo specialists,with time served VAG techs,i got a qoute to replace my cambelt and water pump and was told just a shde under £200.i will give them a go later in the year when mine is due.

Just booked my fabia in with MCC motor engineering, all in for £230 which seems very reasonable for a cambelt + water pump
