boot linners?

Featured Replies

After market rubber boot linners are they the same for the estate and hatchback?

no

It depends, the difference between the boot floor of the estate and hatch is very slightly different but not by much.

I have both a hatch and an estate and have genuine Skoda boot liners in each and they are different. The estate extends by about 1cm further towards your kness (if leaning into the boot) as the space for the warning triangle uses this gap in the hatch.

Also the estate has slightly different cubby holes which affects the contour of the boot liner.

The holes for the load securing metal loops are in the same position on both the hatch and the estate, as is the width between the rear wheelarches and the fitment behind the back seats so there is very little in it.

The differences are that minimal a lot of the aftermarket manufacturers sell them as 'one size fits all'.

£10 from Costco. It isn't bespoke but it's good quality and does the job well.

I got the one from my 07 Passat Estate. Fit's perfect into my 07 Octavia hatch.

you have two load runners one each side in the estate if you use the twin hatch cover it will cover the runners i know i changed from hatch to estate its too wide.

Bill, you do realise you are in the Octavia and not the Superb forum?

The Octavia estate doesn't have the load runners like the Superb does...
