Anyone good at finding boost leaks in n/w

Featured Replies

As title people bought the car 3 week ago it was great boosted well and felt fast then it stopped feeling fast :(

So I changed the dv to a up rated recirc one then I found a split on the pipe on the vac reservoir then a split on the pipe that's common under the manifold can still hear it venting to atmosphere like its got a induction kit like the wastegate chattering and a hiss like a boost leak

We had the car in the air and we thought that it might be coming from the pancake pipe bit where the silicone pipe is held into the hard pipe with a circlip as this is ever so slightly wobbly

But I am fully out of ideas and can't find it !!!!!!!

I will for the winning finder of boost leak do full geo on a John beam 3d alignment machine a few brews and some biscuits plus I have a ramp to check it on to and maybe if you need to use the ramp to that can be done I am in Stockport if anyone fancies taking me up on my offer

Of ultimate boost leak finding champion 2012 :)

Forgot to add the car has a stage 1 map a pipercross panel filter but standard otherwise !!
