For new insurance quote purposes, I would like to know what category of security alarm is fitted to the FL Octavia.

I got a letter from Adrian Flux confirming that my car had a CAT 1 immobiliser. Not sure why they put this in their insurance terms if it is clear that a car has this as a standard fit item??

if the car only has a Thatcham Approved Immobiliser it will be classed as CAT2

CAT1 is Immobiliser and Alarm
