List of jobs to do when it gets here are:

A full detail. Decontaminate the paint, clay, machine polish and several coats of acrylic sealant. Wheels off and seal with G-Techniq C5. Seal glass with G-Techniq G1. Scotchgard the whole interior. Seal engine bay with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Install the kids DVD players in the back hiding all the wiring in the process.

Fit the Garmin Brodit clip and hide the wiring through the top storage box.

Swap all bulbs for Osram Nightbreakers.

Drive the thing!. That little list should keep me busy for a while.

None of those give you anymore ponies. Just get it remapped first!

It's in hand.

Mine came off the line last week, and was on the ship earlier this week, so pencilled in for collection late next week!

What's the lead time for you guys ordering new? I'm planning to order my new car in Sept.

Ordered 2nd May. Built today. Delivery within 3 weeks hopefully.

I ordered mine 30/12 and it arrived the 30/3 so 3 months for 8 option build wasn't too bad

Avoid a remap till after warranty its the only single best advice i can give you.

Why? If your remap causes a problem it will cost you to get it fixed in or out of warranty so why wait 3 years? With a bit of luck, if it's in warranty you might still get it fixed under warranty anyway. If there's a problem under warranty not caused by the remap it should be fixed under warranty.

I bought mine to remap it straight away, standard performance is a bit lacking.

Built from scratch.

Added sunset glass, rear parking sensors, alcantara trim and spare wheel. It is the MY13 model with the carbon trim.

Had the Volvo mapped at 1500 miles and had no problems with that. Don't see the point in waiting.

G-Techniq woooohoooooooooo Sounds like its going to a good clean home then don't forget to go over it with a fine tooth comb sounds like you know how to check car over (mine had been scratched then some monkey used a machine polisher and burnt the paint) I failed to notice this small mark on mine to be fair it was collected in heavy rain and it needed some good lamp to check it over in dry.
