Just had a new Co. car delivered. A Superb SE (2011) with a Bolero head unit. The dealer it was bought from said it didn't have blue tooth, so fitted a parrot Ck3100. When it arrived, I found out it does have bluetooth, but it doesn't work, presumably because of the parrot. Is it a straight forward task to remove the parrot and get the factory BT working properly?

By 'doesnt work' what doesn't it do? Does it appear in the Maxidot menu? Can you pair your phone with it?

The parrot is easy enough to strip out... I just removed one from mine. They have a huge amount of wiring but it's all plug and play so comes out easily.

Blutooth doesn't come as standard. It may show on bolero and you have a phone button BUT is the unit actually installed. I believe it is fitted under passenger seat on a superb but could be wrong.

I would go back to the dealer and ask him in a kind way, to stick that Parrot up his... and get the original soloution. It´s not the biggest difference in price, if you´re willing to install it yourself. If you want to see if your car has bluetooth, then look under your drivers seat (the passenger seat in LHD cars).
