Got my speedo display changed on the Maxi Dot to show the below :

A worthwhile modification if you have access to VAGCOM

One thing though, when it comes to MOT time will it fail due to there being no KPH display.

There isn't one on the speedo. I suppose you could put it back for its mot

You can change it back within maxidot after the change

A UK MOT test in 2012 does not require a Speedometer to read in KPH.

Fail if

'Speedometer is not fitted,

is incomplete,

has a glass broken or missing,

not working,

or can not be illuminated.'

I've tried to put my Octavia into Australian Mode so I can do the same but on Maxi Dot, in Language, there is no Australian setting

Any chance of a pointer on how to do this? Got a mate who is after having it done.

I used this guide for mine which i did a few months ago. Very handy and easy to do.
