How do you get the scuttle panel off to get to the filter? I'm embarrassed asking this as I've changed the filter earlier in the year and on my old vrs to!! Just can't seem to remember how since then!!

you have to pull up on the panel to release it from the slot which runs beneath the windscreen, get your hand under it once you have removed the rubber which runs across the width of the engine bay

you have to pull it out, perpendicular to the screen ie away at the same angle to the screen as the tray has a piece (sits at 90 degrees to the scuttle) that slots into a groove at the bottom of the windscreen holding it.

Thanks it's just being a pain and I can't remember it being this much hassle before!
