Some advise please 1.9 tdi vrs 17957 boost pressure regulation valve N75

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

need some advise, was driving along as normal in my furby, parked up at morrisons to do the shopping, come back and the engine management lights on, and no power at all, no boost from the turbo, drives as normal just no boost.

checked pipes, oil, water, all fine, come back and scanned the car to find these faults:

17911 - Load signal from alternator term - DF

P1503 - 35 - 10 implausible signal - intermittent

17957 - boost pressure regulation valve (N75)

P1549 - 35 - 10 - Open or short to ground - intermittent

Cleared the codes, drove fine..

Next day, again drove fine for around a hour, lost power, no EML light, come on later, parked up for abit and boost was back.. Same faults.

Am I right in thinking I need the N75 box, and also does it need to have the exact same letter at the end?

Any advise would be great

Nobody seriously?

Probable cause for 17911 is:

  • Wiring
  • Alternator

Probale cause for 17957 is:

  • wiring open circuit/short to earth
  • turbocharge wastegate
  • regulating valve

Hope this helps
