You will have to let us have more details, is it 2 x 7 pin sockets, or a 13 pin socket ? also give model, year of car, but what you need is one of these:

As I suspect you have can-bus wiring, and the connections are then made at the lights at the rear of the car.

If you are having trouble with a buzzer then you have a bypass relay type system which will not go to the fuse box at the front of the car but the wire will be spliced onto the lights at the back of the car. If you have had a vehicle specific wiring kit fitted which does go to the front of the car and it has been coded correctly then you will never have a buzzer as there won't be one fitted and the indicator bulb warning will take the form of a warning light on the dash and a message in maxidot, if you have it fitted, to tell you that the bulb has failed rather than an audible warning to tell you it is working.

it spliced in to the front how ever the power lead for the buzzer is fitted in to an empty pin in fuse box then a fuse is added to make the circuit however i think iv put it in the wrong empty pin in the fuse box

the dash tellsme if iv got a bulb out on the dash thatsit does nothing else i remember fiting a box item with the cable running through it to the front of the car

The unit itself buzzes, but you can fit a warning lamp on the dash if you want.

mine dosnt buzz as i think iv not got power going to the buzzer due to a crap diagram ang connecting the wrong pin at the fuze box
