Another unhappy customer

Featured Replies

Cancelled my insurance today.

What a joke when I phoned them 3weeks ago, got a good quote but what they didn't tell me was they wanted an eatra £25 if I paid by direct debit, then they sent the wrong info to the credit company. That pushed my bill up a further £100.

All in all I feel this company needs to sort itself out.

Oh and to cancel they wanted to charge me £30 on a policy that was not due to start for a week.I did manage to half that after threatening to complain.

Hope this helps others.

Surely they can't charge anything if the policy hasn't even started?

Are you saying they sent you a Renewal notice because you are currently insured with them.

(you have Automatic renewal ticked)

&

You wanted to pay 'Instalments' by Direct Debit for the next years policy. ?

*Then that sounds different from your post.*

as i read your title and whats written.

You only needed to let the Policy running finish, not cancel anything.

Do not pay them a penny for that.

*Get them to provide your proof of NCB, and do not pay them a penny to provide that to your new insurer.*

If you have signed up to 'Instalments' and a Credit Agreement you had your 14 days,(21 days ago)

but since the Insurance and the agreement has not started i think the small prints explains your right to cancel

If already charged this £15, demand that back, thats fraudulent of them.

It was a new policy.

I will get round to reading the small print and take actions accordingly.

It's shocking how these company's think there customers are pushovers.
