wont affect mot as its not anywhere near the reflective directional area, in fact last night i noticed it brighter straight ahead, but less bleed around so not so much around peripheral of the car, that said its minimal, brighter bulbs and done. alignment perfect, according to garage

just a small update.. Im currently finishing my Custom loom for my U.S look LED Side lights and i thought i would put a pic up of the reflection/light output from a 12v Alarm battery.

5xsmLED 501 bulb and it looks like this.. They white not blue.

and reflection..

I can safely say that with a set of super bright bulbs in there, there will be no compromise in light output.

You mean the US side marker lights? Need to get mine started sometime, I've got 2 sets of smoked ones to go on, planning 2 on front and 2 on the back with Amber leds on fronts and red on the rear ones, got mine from my m8 when he went to the states

kinda Raf.. I have the Audi Q7 amber LED indicators in my lower milotec grills, so i have put a white LED into the original indicator cluster so its not just empty. Not a Propper bumper side marker but its a side light (like alot of US and Jap cars have) in the "indicator" cluster at the side.
