Anybody got one fitted? Any noticeable difference, either in noise or performance? Any pictures of install?

Got one for next to nothing today, wondering whether to fit it before remap

I've got one dude. If it was close to nothing won't hurt using it. Can't see a big difference unless im wrong.well get a pic up for ya soonish

Unfortunately I can't comment on difference as got the sound of the hybrid screaming away and bought it with it already on. Sure it'll make a more of a deep roar than ya standard induction etc. by being all closed it may not. When im out and about in a bit shall try to someone see if I can hear it dude.

Im thinking along the basis of i have a pd100 so anything has to be better than standard filter and airbox. Apart from a big dirty cone filter obv.

Yeah mate i dont see why it wouldnt free up some restriction to the airflow over standard. Me mate put a come filters on an mg metro gti.....sounded like a motorbike the roar it made. So deffo be better

I wanna change the alloy inlet pipe an the manifold too eventually once i can find one cheapcheap so then itll be as big as i can get it really. Expensive this pd100 tuning lark. You literally need everything to get anywhere with power

Ahhh so youve put a shorter pipe in instead of the black pipe. This is what i need to do then to get mine to fit in the bay right :p

I have one too. No real difference in noise and I only got it as the oem route was blocked off by my methanol rig bracket. So mine kind of follows the natural way the BMC pipe would suggest. Keeps it away from the heat anyway.

Well my friend put a cone filter on his and it sounded awful, reminded me abit of the exhaust blowing :p so i hoped it didnt get too loud really.

Is there space to run down and to the fog light grill does anyone know?

Had a test fit earlier. Bit more induction noise, slight owl noise. Tbh, quite like it thumbs up

Mines running from original induction route. A lot of pipe leading to it. Have been thinking of re routing it so its not so hot. Plus it rubbed on a coolant hose which wore a hole.

Pointless input but mine sounds fantastic in my mk2, supercharger makes a fluttery noise on lift off

Mine was running standard route. Only prob being alot of flexi hose as it was only a test fit and it hung down near gear selectors which i dislike muchly. Going to order a shorter inlet hose and get a bracket made up then refit.

I really wanna put it to the foglight though for some reason, looks to be no room but cant see properly with bumper on. So will look properly when i fit my vrs front bumper

Sure it'll fit somewhere better. Mine shook like crazy on standard bracket so refitted it. Tempted to trim hose down a touch too.

Ha I spent 2k on a rebuild only for the body to be completely rotten. Wish I'd of kept it and just re shelled it over time. Was tuned to 190. Used to spin up in 4th

My mate bought one a few months back for 150 quid and sold it a month later for 1800. Was a fun month though, jabba stage 4 kit i think it was 8) sommat like that, absolute rocket
