Front disc octy 1 vrs

Featured Replies

Just got my new discs and pads today took wheel off and discs are different sizes. On the car 312 my new ones 285ish. What size should be on and if I put 312's on are they from another make of car? Thanks in advance Dave

there are 2 or three sizes, you need to make sure before ordering that the dimensions match. A bigger than specified disc wouldnt fit inside the caliper mount so i would say you have wrong one. mk1 octy i have is the 280ish mm one yours being vrs esp if its more powerfull would likely be bigger as standard

The VRS has 312s, the non-VRS 1.8 has 288s.

Diesels (and some other models) have 280s.

Yep, just changed mine on the RS. They are 312mm (25 thick) as standard on the front end 256mm (22 thick) both vented.

Sounds like you might have got 288mm discs for a 1.8t 4x4 instead.

Hope you get it sorted.
