Interesting site with car reliability data

Featured Replies

I came across this site http://www.reliabilityindex.com/ it collects the data from Warranty Direct.

If you plug in the car make and model it gives you the percentage of the most common failures. Interestingly the MK1 Octy shows as being twice as good as the Mk2.

I should add that I have no affiliation with either the website or Warranty Direct

I noticed that the Skoda Octavia got only an average reliability in Which and was surprised by that.

Mostly good for the MK2 except for electrical things at 30%

Interesting also that the MK2 Octavia scores alot higher than the Audi A3, despite them being essentially the same car.....vorsprung durch technik indeed.

Mk1 GET IN!!!!!!! beat that mk2 owners hehe, if you dont like it come and get me if you think your car will make it

says he whos brake pipe exploded
