Look What You Made Me Do....

Featured Replies

There I was minding my own business, enjoying life with my new vRS.

Then completely(and happily)by accident I found Briskoda.net

so I visit a few times, then I register, then I see someones had their car Jabba'd,then someone else and so on.

Then I get some money and.....Oh no I've got the bug

1.Booked remap

1a.Replacement DV

2.Thinking about exhuast

3.Thinking about wheels

Where will it all end.....:D

But seriously with regards to points 2 & 3 - any suggestions esp on wheel/tyre size - don't want any catching on the arch's

19" crome spinners for wheels should be fairly unique :)

Briskoda has that effect on people.

We aim to please... :D

You haven't mentioned the ICE upgrade yet...

wheels are personal taste... i like the race look - hence the vRS but others prefer chrome bling style or more subtle designs..

make sure what ever you go for your chose brake upgrade will fit behind them... if u change the brakes that is...

I hadn't thought of that....oh! here we go again

Hmmm....wonder if the brakes on the RS4 we have for sale would fit ??? ;)

I think it would look nice with chromed wire wheels with knock-off hubs - like the Jaguar E Type.

I hope your not suggesting I steel some wheels :nono:

No, the wheels are steel - Denis is just suggeting that you knock-off some hubs....

You could always steal them instead.... *boom boom*

Well... if you want wheels for performance reasons, look at the weight. The lightest ultra performance tires are the Toyo T1-s and the lightest wheels are the SSR competition. The larger the wheel, the more they weigh but the better they are in handling. I'm going for OZ crono EVO which are light enough at less than 17lbs and are 100 bucks cheaper than the SSR comps. Light wheels and tires aid a lot in acceleration, just like lighter pulleys and flywheel.

Knock it off, Guys! You are deliberately confusing steal and steel - and just about everything else too. So how about someone with Photoshop producing a picture of a vRS with chrome spoke steel wheels so that we can all see what they look like? :D

PS - MGB wheels would do at a push.

over to Ian then...or maybe Rob(WitchFinder) if he's bored.:D

Tyres/wheel: biggest we've heard of a 235/35/19. I think there is some arch rub if fully loaded or going over big bumps.

I've 225/45/17 on at the moment and they're fine.

Exhaust:

used to be only one choice, Milltek. Sports CAT and downpipe as well as CAT back system. A few Briskodians has either one or both of these. Some fitting issues.

I have a Jetex CAT back just to be different. Nice sound, not too loud and fits perfectly. From Jabba.

H&S full decat from Impreziv. Masses of torque and is LOUD! Will pop and shoot flames on overrun.:D
