Tell em to rework the figures to take account of it then, thats what my dealer done, as like one of the other posters mehtioned it makes no difference to the dealer as its Skoda UK contribution, the finanace man in your place should be able to sort it out, tell em you will walk away if Skoda UK wont honour the offer! Read my situation up the top and with a bit of protesting to the dealer they sorted mine out, you dont sign any paperwork until you take delivery of the car, so at the moment any finance is purely a quote, they will of obviously agreed to finance you if they have allowed you to order a car, the finer points and final figures of the finance will take effect from when you take delivery.

For example, my car, what I was quoted at time of order and what I am actually paying per month is £50 cheaper now than I was quoted, reason being for finance purposes they now have stronger residuals add in the £500 deposit contribution and bingo thats saved me £50 per month, makes me wish I had ordered more options now...!!!

But seriously, kick up with the dealer and also Skoda UK, but you need to speak to VWFS really to get something sorted Skoda Customer Services will just say its a finance thing so you will need to speak to the financial people.

Thanks, I have dealt with the dealer before and they are pretty reasonable. I work at a local college and we buy their P/X's for next to nothing.

They have actually sold my car to me at a £86 loss, and have only made money on the commission from the finance + the other little bits and bobs so there is no movement from the dealers side.

I will have to get on to Skoda UK but don't have an email address as yet.

Yes I see your point, but to me, maybe I am wrong it makes no difference to them where the £500 comes from either Skoda or from you, so its down to Skoda agreeing to it, which they should really, good luck on it though, I am sure if it can be done then it should be, but like me its very frustrating when the offer is there and initially its not available to you.
