Goodbye Furby, hello Octy...

Featured Replies

I am saying goodbye to my 04 Furby VRS later on today, boohoo, I am downsizing my monthly payments in favour of a 4 yr old Octy VRS, whooppeeee!!!! Should hopefully work out all right financially, thanks for everyone's thoughts to the thread I posted previously on the subject, roll on 5.30pm, although I am still getting the pangs of guilt at giving up on my Furb, I'm sure it will find a good home, and its not like I haven't had an absolute laugh with it, so fare thee well small black rocket ship, say hello to the big red octy monster!!!!

Enjoy the new car! Think of all the stuff you can get in your new huge boot! ( mine has that much stuff in at the moment I'm sure its costing me another 10 mpg!

commendable effort

Well I said goodbye to my Furby at about 11am this morning, so your not alone - but at least you got another car to look forward to. Good luck with the new motor, I'm sure you will enjoy it just as much. :)

Cheers, dealer told me there will be a lot of 2nd hand Furby VRSes coming through now that they have been out for a couple of years, so he said I timed it about right, as soon it will be much easier to pick one up, whereas (over here in Norn Iron at least) there is still a high demand, and there are pretty much only new ones available.

Have fun in the Octy, it is a very nice car. I have to say I'd be tempted to change the furby if the Fabia WRC special edition came out. But I'll doubt it ever will.

Sounds like I timed it right too... maybe another few months and it would have been worth a lot less!

Best of luck, there aren't too many Octy vRSs about over here either.

Should definitely get some attention. Where abouts are you? you will have to post some pics when you get the new car.

I live in Portrush, but can generally be found anywhere between there and Ballymena on a daily basis, usually travelling at somewhere around the legal limit, I will have to get some pics up before the nice weather goes and the car gets dirty...
