Going to fit a set of Eibach -25mm springs to my vRS on the standard shocks.

Going to replace strut tops and drop links at the same time.

My question is, do I need spring compressors to do this?

Yes, I think so. To take the strut off you will need to compress the springs.

Wheel off, bottom ball joint out, droplink off, tap strut out of hub, pull hub to side and undo top mount bolts and drop strut out to other side. Easy job :p done mine this afternoon. Easy as until i snapped the droplink :p
