Any VRS' Near Leeds - Favour if Possible

Featured Replies

I have a posible issue with my steering/suspension, but before I go spending a load of money replacing bits; a part of me is wondering if its normal.

What I'm feeling could be normal for what is a very old design car now and certainly for a VAG which of this generation (mk4 golf etc) were renound for bad handling.

Anyway, is there anybody near Leeds who would be willing to let me drive their car for 2 mins?

I dont drive like a knob, am in my 30s and indeed dont even need to go over 40 MPH. I would be able to tell straight away if it's the same.

I know its a big ask, especially from some random off the internet, but if anybody is able to help just send me a message.

In return you can drive my car as a sort of knowledge exchange. Other than this its pristine, so may show if something is not right with your car.

Thanks in advance.

could have a quick go in mine bud

A big thank you to this legend who has just come and let me drive his car.

There was something slightly there on mine, but probably just 5%.

So all in all thats good because it means the car is basically normal. He drove my car and couldnt even tell what I was on about, but I am quite sensitive and once something bugs me its all I can feel.

no worries bud. gotta help the fellow Briskodians!!

your car feels fine to me, not too dis similar to mine, only the clutch on yours feels lighter and thats just about all i could really tell apart from the 2 cars.(albeit your standard ride height!)

glad i could help out.

Iain.
