Putting Alloys on Skoda

Featured Replies

Hi

My Skoda feels a bit light to drive on Motorways so i was thinking about changing the rims for a Set of Alloys

My question is will it make the drive of car feel more heavier?

Will be considering putting set of 15" Alloys on.

Could get your steering weight adjusted?

How do you go about getting that done?

How do you mean ... light?

What tyres do you have at the minute?

Are they at the right pressure for a start?

Have the standard fitted tyres. As far am aware the tyre pressue is correct too but i will double check

Basically am trying to get the overall car feel more heavier drive whilst on motorway

VCDS a guy called Gac who is fairly local to me did it for me last week and it drives amazing now, nice and weighty.

As above - steering weight can be adjusted with VCDS.

What exact tyres have you got fitted?

Obviously a rubbish tyre will feel like it's light as it's got less grip.

For the car to feel more 'planted' I though my Whiteline rear anti roll bar was an unbelievable buy.

How much to that VCD's usually cose to do ?

is that a better option the putting set of Alloys on

Unless you want to fit alloys for looks aswell?

VCDS you will have to look on the register for someone local to you. I only cost 4 bottle of Sol for Gac :) and he didnt even ask for them!
