Citigo Coming Soon

Featured Replies

Went over to Hortons in Lincoln yesterday to have a look at the new Citigo. Within 10 mins of getting there, i was taking 1 for a test drive, and I have to say I was impressed with the way it drove etc. For a 1 litre 3cylinder, i found it quite responsive, and it handled well. I was also surprised at how roomy they are on the inside, considering i'm 6ft 4" and 20ish stone. They remind me so much of the good old Estelle/Rapid as well, with the metal tops on the inside of the doors, the seats are like Rapid seats, and even the indicators sound like Estelle ones.

After the test drive, i made enquiries with buying 1 through the Skoda Solutions scheme, enquired about delivery times, and i will now be the proud owner of a Candy White Citigo S 3dr within the next 2-3 weeks.

This will be my 1st new car, and i can't wait until it's ready for collection.

Congratulations -don't forget to add your name to the register.

Ollie and the boys are doing pretty well for themselves over at Horton at the moment.

2-3 weeks delivery, wow that's quick.

Ours will be sometime in September, but I guess longer because it's a 5 door with metallic paint etc

I was also impressed on the test drive how well they go, and very spacious inside.

Enjoy!

Mick

As Mick said, that is quick delivery!

Enjoy your new Citigo.

I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, and just wanted a basic spec Citigo to keep the costs down. They checked availability and said there was 1 on the way to the showroom.

As soon as i get it i'll post pics and add details to the register etc.

It is a great little car isn't it.

I'm struggling to remember if I have seen any negative comments on here ??

Lucky beggar on the quick delivery.

I reckon we have to wait another 2 weeks for ours ?

There are about a dozen UK stock cars that can be available within a week or two.

Provided you find an acceptable colour/spec level/options choices on the list, of course.

All three doors at the moment though.

I wanted a red Elegance 5 door with sunset glass and a few other bits and bobs so it's a wait.

There will be some negative comments if I don't get two 'proper' keys -It's a fairly cheap car in basic S spec. with no options, but when you're buying the top of the range and loading it up with options it certainly isn't.

I only got one remote key and one ordinary when i had the top of the range Fiat Panda 100 HP. It cost £10500 but i got a great £2500 discount,so it only cost £8000.

The only niggle i can find with the citygo on looking at one in a dealers, is it only has one button on the drivers side for the electric window. You have to lean over if you want to open the passenger window.

The Citigo I've ordered is totally standard with wind up windows etc. I wanted to keep costs down to a minimum. I was going to have the sticker pack, but everybody seems to be adding that, so I've got something else planned. I'm assuming the Citigo is the standard VW 4x100 pcd? If so I've a couple of sets of wheels in the garage I may try on it. Pics will be posted as and when changes occur.

Heard from our dealer that ours is on the transporter and due to delivered to them by the end of the week so if all goes to plan my daughter will be driving it, instead of driving me mad, on Saturday. :)
