Only in the dead of winter and your battery is to knackered to run the glow plugs and turn the engine!!

surely though any day you lean the oil down even summer, the engine will be able to circulate better? in winter oil is far less viscous and surely has less ability to travel around. But every day you still have a "cold" start and oil will be less viscous. I just thought that it would help in general. Thanks for the opinion by the way it helps me extrapolate a decision
