Estate - Water collecting between bumper and boot

Featured Replies

I frequently have water sitting between the rear of the bumper and the tailgate lid, which does not drain away. Is it a design flaw or a feature, does anyone else have this? If not I will mention to the dealer when it goes in on Saturday.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I get this on mine too.

I guess it's a feature.

Same here - I have a rubber 'flap' that I use to protect the top of the bumper from the dog so drop that over to avoid getting too wet when accessing the boot.

I think the water drains away between the boot/bumper join as there's a gap there. If the car is level there's not enough of angle for it to run into the gap.
