Hi folks, just looking to buy in a replacement wheel bearing arrangement for the old mk 1. On line the VAG option seems to retail at around 70 to 90 quid. Obviously there are cheaper alternatives available but don't want to waste time/money in the long run if alternatives largely aren't up to much? Thanks.

Avoid Chinese or "silly name" variants.

ECP will supply an SKF bearing kit for this vehicle. Ensure you have a press and mandrels and know how to fit it.
