When I get my Urban soon (I hope), I'll have a lovely 200 mile drive back from the garage to look forward to. Looking elsewhere on the forums, I see a few VCDS tweaks that I'm quite interested in doing:

1. Cornering fog lamps (sounds useful)
   
2. Dial staging (sounds cool)
   
3. Cruise control speed display - used this on a couple of passats and I like it.
   

So my basic questions are:

1. Would these work on a petrol urban?
   
2. Should I try to arrange something for when I pick the car up or wait a week or two to see if there's any problems with the car and then see if I can get someone in darkest somerset (there's a couple on the list but I'm way down in the SE corner)

They should all do doable, the only one which is not 100% guaranteed to work is the CC display - not had a petrol car to try it on yet and it doesn't display on the TDi.

Personally I would ask the dealer to do the changes, if they are unable (numpties) or unwilling to do it then get someone with VCDS to code the car for you.
