I am a little confused with Skoda, if you buy a SE estate it comes supplied with 17" 'Trifid' alloy wheels (7.5J x 17" 225/45 R17 94 W/Y) & if you buy Elegance estate it comes 18" 'Themisto' alloy wheels (7.5J x 18" 225/40 R18 92Y). Not sure as to why the weight rating of the Elegance is lower, why cant i fit 92 to the SE estate.

Same engine?

You simply can't buy 225/45 R17 with a 92 load index. It's 91 or 94. And 92 is sufficient for an S2 (with the old axle loads).
