Has anyone tried to reshape these. I have discovered that with my suspension & wheel mods the tyres on the rear are just catching the plastic liner so I need to soften them so I can push them against the metal wheelarch. It's not the hight but the width.

nothing too fancy but I have done asmall patch on the rear arch of my Seat with a Black &decker heat gun setting two it won't be pretty but will work and a bit of mastic if your pusshing tool is too sharp

Ah right, so you did it in situ. Petrol tank side or other???

initially in situ but then had to remove it to cut off an unused bracket behind for a bit more 3/4" clearance not near tank

Well, in for a penny . I found a little roller, so I'm going to try that.
