I see some of you have tinted windows on your cars.

I understand that tinting the Drivers side window could get the attention of the police, so has anyone had any problems so far?

Also what % would you recommend for the Drivers side window as to not draw attention to myself?

technically, these days you can't add film to the front windows of a new(ish) car cos they're already tinted as much as allowed by law...whether or not you get pulled probably depends on how & what you drive as much as how dark your tints are

i had tints on the previous car and no trouble

but philonain as you may know mine were quite dark and i didn't hang about, the car was also lowered with big alloys and loud exhaust :P

I'm thinking about some very light smokes on the front of mine - I had limo tint on it when I bought the car and it was dreadfully unsafe at night! Had to wind down the windows on both sides, at night on unlit crossroads...

I could do with a little something though to just try and merge in the limo'd rear half of the car, and then limo sunstrip. Although to be fair, its not bad as it is.

With a Top Speed of about 90 Mph (down hill) and a 0-60 in about 20 secs I don't think I will draw to much attention to myself with my driving

In fact it would be nice to be stopped by the Police to show I'm still a rebel, I dont think I have been pulled over for at least 10 years.

Thanks for the answers, so if I don't go silly with a front side tint, the chances of being pulled will be remote.

didn't you get em before the law on tints changed though...? and you now drive a blando white estate
