Problem with electric boot lid.

Featured Replies

Hi, anyone else that has problems with the electric bot lid? Mine has stopped working after a year. After a reset at the workshop it worked for a day. Now they put in new electric motors but it still doesn´t work and the workshop doesn´t know what´s wrong. All the experienced mechanics are on vacation so have to wait a few weeks before they continue the search. Can it be the sensors that stop the lid if it touches anything?

Doesn't help your situation I know but 19 months on and mine is still perfect - I use mine about 20 times per week.

Does not say a lot if their capacity to sort things depends on their core mechanics.

Long way from the joke about the heated rear screen ,then . ( Or was that ladas). Whoops ,being pedantic, I know, but couldn't resist - perhaps it's a bot in the system

Are we talking about the auto boot opening I'm guessing?

Fault codes? If they have replaced the struts did they initialise the system and then carry out basic settings?
