anybody purchased one of these yet ?

Featured Replies

I bought the exact same one. Lower bracket didn't line up at all but the maf/side brakes provide enough support to stop it wobbling around.

It will foul the horns, I jiggled the bracket about a bit, some turn the horns upside down, I considered shortening the pipe a bit!

There's a good guide in the how to section :)

cheers philip ,,i was worrid it wouldnt fit at all...

It just takes a bit of fiddling with. Best access is to remove inner arch and one underneath it so you can fit the filter from underneath. You'll need to remove the battery & box too.

Oh btw, the jubilee clips are pants, get some better ones as they won't tighten up at all!

Sounds a bit nicer, diverter becomes a bit louder, didn't notice any difference in performance though!

cheers for all the replies lads,,look forward to fitting it now,,, had a neuspeed p flo cold air intake on a previous vrs and it was the dogs ball bag,,,,great noise outa it,,,so hopfully this wll be something similar

Should not need to remove battery for doing that job.

You can get away with removing the headlight (4 torx screws, one covered by indicator) and rear plug then you get plenty of room to also fit cone to pipe.

few pics of mine.

You don't have to remove it but it gives so much more room to get it in and lined up correctly!

cheers bowders,,your a legend,,,, and thanks also philip.... id have half the engine taken out to try and fit it if it wasnt for ye boys !lol

I was very happy with this, worked really well. even better when removed the bottom cover in front of bumper. I turned horn upside down, was easier. have had to change mine now as fmic pipework fouls it.

but for money was very happy.

Proof you dont have to spend fortune to get improvement,
