FK Wheel Spacers - rear fitment

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any issues fitting wheel spacers to the rear axle ?

I'm using FK Spacers and the fronts fit fine, but the rears don't butt up to the hub (there's maybe a 5mm gap, both sides same).

not fk spacers, but 12mm creationmotorsports spacers fit perfectly.

nice & tight snug fit.

these have a tapered edge on the inside that caters for the existing lip on the hub.

Not sure if new spacers would help, as the FK's fit fine on the front.

Problem appears to be that the arrowed part of the hub setup extends further out on the rear.

Looks like you need a thicker spacer for the rear so the bore is deeper.

Hubcentric 15mm spacers are the best bet. Better still I know someone who is selling some ;)

Correct - not all spacer designs will fit the rear hubs.

Not true - I have 8mm H&Rs that fit fine on the rear.

I have 30mm (15mm each side) FKs fitted on the rear, I believe this is the min?? bolt on separately and then use original bolts for the wheels. I had mine fitted by Awesome GTI, when they done the springs

He's not using H&R spacers though, he's using FK...

Well yeah, he said. Maybe he should upgrade to H&R.

So it's not just me then, thought i'd got a mongrel rear axle !

Does anyone know if the 15mm FK's (talking about the bolt through ones) fit ?

Failing that i'll have to go with the bolt on 15mm's (as per lozparry) or look at the H&R's (is anyone running 10-15mm to confirm they fit?).

just for completeness i can confirm that the fk 15 mm (i.e. 30 mm on axle) bolt through spacers do fit on my 58 plate vrs rear hubs.
