Hello everyone, just joined the forum as on Friday next week I will become the proud owner of a new Roomster which is the SE 1.2 TSI in Brilliant Silver and which I have bought through the 25% off deal. Would have liked to have added some extras, especially the roofbars but you can't do that under the offer. Oh well, maybe I can add them later as a retro fit (after I've saved up!). This is my first Skoda and I'm looking forward to being a regular visitor to the forum in the future. All the best.

Welcome and hope you enjoy your Roomster. For a few hundred Skoda will retrofit the rails, so well worth going for the 25% offer and doing it later. Unless you have a trusted mechanic don't go looking elsewhere than Skoda dealer to have them fitted and save a few quid, my mechanic said he's seen a couple roomsters with badly botched rail DIY jobs.

Welcome and i am sure you will enjoy your new roomster , 85 or 105 bhp . The TSI is a cracking little engine , the only thing to watch for is the turbo lag around 1800 rpm , other than that as said they are cracking cars ( just got back from france ) could not fault the drive

I bought my first Skoda the same way - the 25% off Roomster deal - i went for the Miami Blue. Had it a week now and loving it so far. Finding the 1.2TSI engine to very responsive and economical.
